Ok so why does university application work like that, like the entire application process is just completely fake. Grades mean like actually nothing, its so stupid any competitive program is like 95 average + but it actually doesn't matter, Chinese fake high school goes crazy free grades whenever you want, inflate the grade average as much as you want nothing matters anymore. AND BECAUSE ALL THE GRADES ARE FAKE everything is subapps, you neeeeeeeeed extracurriculars for the actual application process atp you need to have an entire other thing because your grade application is so fake, on top of that this school is actually full of brain worms how is it possible that ec maxing is a real thing that people say what are we doinggggggggggg these clubs just run for the sake of running not a single club is run from passions its so fake.

 

Ok so what now like how do you even prep, if you didn't lock in, in like grade 9 then it’s so cooked trying to get exec roles on any club for sub apps so gl applying to competitive programs and even if you get into a good program everything is just so insanely unstable. Your program WILL get nuked by ai and the economy WILL crash before you graduate. Honestly it could like maybe be arguable that you should be prepping to put this much effort into something if you didn't have to start when you’re 14 years old like you can’t even think at that age there are genuine holes in your brain then, and it doesn't really get better through high school so either you have family force you to lock in before you even really know who you are, or you just get cooked instantly. Is this system purposely overcomplicated to punish less privileged people who don't have the money/resources to be able to set up their children beforehand or people who aren’t acquainted to the brain-damaged system that's set in place in western civilization? Probably! But you can't do anything about it because you have to participate in the system as to not like die so sucks to suck I guess.
